Once purchased, you will receive an email with access to your own personalised Higher Living Website with each set of weekly modules. Each module builds on the previous week.

At the end of each 7 day period, you will gain access to the following week to help you stay on track, avoid overwhelm and complete the program in the right order for your success.

Learning to manage stress is a MUST if you want to maintain a healthy physique and balanced mind…exercise on its own is not going to cut it

Above all else, I want you to feel in control of your wellbeing no matter what your situation. In life we can only control what we do, not what happens around us, and staying physically and mentally strong and balanced in this fast-paced, sometimes chaotic world is all anyone can do.

FAQ’s
Can I do this program if I am pregnant?
This program is not designed for pregnancy, and it is always advised you ask you doctor before undergoing any program whilst pregnant. It is however, safe for after giving birth once you have gotten the all clear from your doctor that you may exercise again. If you have ‘abdominal separation’ however, you should seek a physiotherapist who specialises in strengthening these muscles. Once that has healed this program will be fantastic for you to get back on track with your energy, mindset and maintaining a healthy weight postpartum.
How can I complete this program?
Simply head to one of the ‘start now’ buttons and follow the prompts to purchase. The program is all online and delivered via your own personal login to the website. There are no physical products. You will need an internet connection to view all the documents and videos within the website. You will complete each weekly set of modules every seven days, gaining access one week at a time to stay on track and in the right order.
Is this a ‘weight loss’ program?
Yes and no. Weight loss is a process that involves not only portion control with food, but having a healthy gut, healthy lifestyle practices like quality sleep and management of stress, plus strengthening exercises to help boost your metabolism. You will choose what your goals are in the Prep section, and this of course can be weight loss. Rather than thinking about weight loss as the focus, it helps to look at your overall health and habits to make sure they are matched up to you wanting to lose weight. If you apply the information given with food and improving your stress, health and complete the exercise sessions, you can certainly achieve weight loss. So yes, it can be a weight loss program if you choose it to be, however it is more of a ‘lifestyle and health overhaul’ program with fitness and weight loss as part of a larger equation of your total wellbeing. To truly maintain your healthy weight for life you need to look beyond calories and hard core exercise, as the answer lies within a bigger combination of healthy lifestyle practices, which you will learn throughout the program.

Is this program suitable if I have had high stress or health conditions?
Always get a doctor’s clearance if you have had an underlying injury or chronic health problem. This program is not intended to replace any medical treatments or diagnose ailments. The program has been designed to build your health (body and mind) up from experiencing high stress or extreme fatigue. I have based my research and own personal experience of adrenal fatigue into formulating the modules for this program. So if you are experiencing stress, fatigue, overwhelm or not quite getting to your ideal weight, then this program can certainly help you get on track.
How long can I access the content?
You can access this content for life! My intention is to set you up with a plan for the 9 weeks, which can serve you for years to come. Revisit any week or topic for inspiration at anytime via your login. I want to you to have tools and education available for life.
Can I share the program?
You absolutely can share about Higher Living with your friends! However, it is best for each individual to have their own login information as each module is released weekly according to when you personally purchased it, to build holistically on what you’ve learned and to avoid overwhelm. Accessing all the course content at once will disrupt the flow of the program as it’s human nature to skip ahead.
Do I have to follow the eating and exercise plans?
Not at all. In fact, I encourage that you look over the sample meal plans to get an idea of how to combine your foods and get used to adding in variety and nutrition to your diet. You may follow the plans if you like, but do not feel you have to. I want you to learn the nutritional foundations in the guideline, then choose how you eat according to your lifestyle habits, schedule and current health. The program is flexible in terms of eating and exercising, where I will give you options throughout if you need to substitute one exercise session for another. Higher Living is about reducing stress, so all the tools are there, just work through each week as best you can.

If I haven’t met you yet, hi! I’m Vanessa Bartlett, and I’ll be coaching you through Higher Living.

For the last 19 years or so I’ve been in the fitness and health industry as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and taught it all from step aerobics (yep! bring that back I say!), to tai-bo boxing, to Pilates.

I became a mum nearly 2 years ago to a bright and charismatic little boy Lincoln (check out my instagram where he regularly eats lemons!), and experienced severe abdominal separation
and a back injury, basically rehabbing myself from scratch. That coupled with ‘adrenal fatigue’ and extreme exhaustion years prior has led me to discover gentler, more effective ways to exercise that help reduce stress for your mind and body.

I’ve coached professional athletes, presented for The Channel 7 Morning Show and TVSN, and write for several health publications, and have co-produced and presented a lifestyle show. The fitness industry is suffocated with extreme exercise and diet regimes that are simply not sustainable, and do not often teach you how to change your habits and create results that mean something to you, without being driven by social media and society’s unhealthy body image ideals that still exist.

My goal is to help break that cycle and bring to you a fresh perspective on living a more balanced life, focusing not only the physical, but learning how stress reduction and mindset can play a big part in your body, your mind, your life.
